A full-time professional photographer for more than 15 years now, I began my career (and my tutelage really) as a 25-year-old working for renowned photographer Wim Robberechts back in 2008. We were active especially in aerial photography (and film), but covered a vast range of other subjects as well, going from architecture or events to corporate portraits and packshots.

   In early 2012 I started freelancing on my own, specializing in wedding and portrait photography all over Belgium (I'm fluent in French, Dutch, and English).

   These last couple of years my practice evolved towards other photographic domains including food and travel photography, and I started to take more time to work on several personal projects (check out my other website or socials for a peak). But I still very much enjoy covering weddings or shooting family portraits.     

 

   As I hope this website shows, I go for photos with a natural feel, with no fancy accessories or staging, no heavy photoshopping, and where the only essential elements are the subject (his emotions) and beautiful lighting.

   That's also why I'm a huge black&white photography aficionado, as it's nature is to highlight those two elements (making everything else almost superfluous). B&W is a big part of my portfolio, though I do work in color as well of course, and use studio lighting when the specificities of the shoot requires it.
